Full Terms and Conditions

British Gas ("BG") is to give its customers a free family swim at participating pools for up to 5 members of the customer's household (two adults and three children) from 5 September 2009 to 30 June 2010 (the "Term").

• The Free Family Swim offer ("FFS") is exclusive to existing British Gas ("BG") residential customers who are residents of Great Britain.
• Participants must visit www.britishgas.co.uk/swimming to claim their FFS voucher ("Voucher") and submit their name, address, e-mail data, British Gas customer reference number, nominated pool, using the provided Pool Locator Tool, and allocated swimming date. The allocated swimming date can be any weekday or weekend day (excl. Public holidays) during the Term.
• Participants can chose to either print the Voucher themselves or request that British Gas' fulfillment house sends them the Voucher by post.
• Vouchers issued will be date and pool specific.
• Participating pool's staff will verify the authenticity of Vouchers and reserve the right to refuse redemption of the Voucher on the reasonable grounds that it has been fraudulently fabricated or severely damaged.
• By submitting a Voucher at the entry desk to the nominated pool on the chosen date, the bearer is entitled to a FFS for two adults and three children (including the Voucher bearer) during public swimming sessions.
• Duration and schedules of swimming sessions will vary from pool to pool. Please contact your nominated pool directly for enquiries regarding services available and swim schedules which may, at the pool management’s sole discretion, be subject to unforeseen and/or late notice alterations, including the full closure of the pool.
• The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, illegible, inaccurate or incomplete information on any Voucher. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication, loss, alteration, theft of, or unauthorised access to, information provided by Participants.
• Participants acknowledge that personal information provided to the Promoter will be shared with the nominated pool to confirm eligibility to participate in the FFS offer.
• Participants acknowledge that the Promoter may combine personal information provided to participate in this offer with the Promoter’s existing data records strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. For more information please see your Privacy Policy.
• Independent pool terms and conditions apply regarding entry, age and use of the pool and facilities. Each participating pool reserves the right to refuse entry on that basis. In addition, a charge may be made for use of lockers, towels etc. Participants should check with their nominated pool in advance of their visit for further details.
• Each voucher may be used only once. Vouchers not redeemed within the Term or not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be accepted.
• See website www.britishgas.co.uk/swimming and the Pool Locator Tool for a full list of participating pools. Please note that if necessary, the Promoter reserves the right to vary the availability of this offer.
• Offer can not be used in conjunction with any other offer/promotion. Offer can not be exchanged for cash and is non-transferable.
• The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for the quality of service and/or facilities that Participants experience at their nominated pool. Any issues affecting the enjoyment of the FFS should be resolved directly with nominated pool management.
• The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure of any third party to fulfill its contractual obligations although the Promoter shall take reasonable steps to try and minimize the effect of any such failures.
• Offer subject to availability. The Promoter, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the offer in whole or in part at any time. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding on all matters.
• Participants swim at their own risk and no responsibility or liability will be accepted by the Promoter.

By submitting a valid Voucher at a participating pool, the bearer is entitled to one free swim for five members (two adults and three children) per household on a nominated weekday or weekend day (excl. Public holidays). Participating pools reserve the right to refuse entry at their sole discretion on grounds set out in their respective terms and conditions.
